ABOUT · LOUIS LEOW

AI handles the work.
With people, I've switched to asking.

Both running in my own company. This page is who I am and what I have actually built.

Who I am

I'm Louis, based in KL, with 10+ years in operations and management.

I started using AI seriously in 2023 — not because of the hype, but because after starting my own company, one person was doing the work of five.

Things that used to take a whole team now run on AI — just me and a Mac mini.

Then I found out: when the work is done, what's left is people

Processes can be automated. People can't. You hand something off and nobody follows through; everything has to come through you; you step away and it stops. AI doesn't fix a single one of those.

So I changed how I work: give fewer answers, ask one more question. When someone asks "how do I do this", I ask one back and let them work it out. Slower — but next time they've got it.

It isn't a new skill I picked up. It's how I already talked; I just went and filled in the method behind it, so I know why it should be done that way.

What I've actually built

Talk is cheap. These are real and running:

  • My own company: work that used to need a team now runs with one person and a Mac mini. Claude as the core brain, tools like n8n as the execution layer.
  • CCI Mandarin Chapter: a chapter I lead — I'm its Chapter Leader. How sessions run, how people come in, how the back office works: I'm building the whole operating system with AI, from zero. The process is logged in the open in the build diary — what I did, where I got stuck, what I changed. Unedited.
  • Juiczy: three services, priced openly. I only sell what I've run myself first.

Where I stand

I'm not a consultant. I'm an SME owner still in it, writing down what I've figured out — so you can skip a few steps.

So everything I talk about, I've run in my own company first. If I haven't tested it, I don't talk about it.

How I decide

Tools change every week. I go by four things: AI is not the steering wheel; map your own workflow before chasing tools; creativity and judgment are what truly appreciate; answer too fast and people stop thinking.

The longer versions are in Notes and Breakdowns.
